Professor Krifka is Professor of General Linguistics at the Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany since 08/2000; the Director of the Center for General Linguistics (ZAS) in Berlin since 01/2001,funded by the state of Berlin and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Germany; and Editor-in-chief of the international journals “Theoretical Linguistics” since 2002, “Studia Grammatica” since 2008, and “Linguistics and Philosophy” (1997-2003).
